In a pleasant and early surprise, Jen and I welcomed a baby girl into our lives today (May 19, 2008) at 12:10 p.m. We named her Addison Lynn. She weighed 5 lbs. 10 ounces and was 19 1/4 inches long. Addison and Jen are doing well and are recouperating at Douglas County Hospital, Alexandria (OB Room #9) ... although Dad could be a different story. :-] Although she was three and a half weeks early, she is doing very well and we are tentatively slated to be home Wednesday.

Today will be the best and worst day of your life. The best because you have a little girl and you will never experience love like you will feel for her, and it will last a lifetime. Your worst because you will never stop worrying about her:).
